AERA was created by founder Kensey Monopoli, having spent 10 years as a messeuse battling with heavy, sometimes dangerous tables in an industry that seemed blind to the wellbeing and safety of its therapists.

She saw the potential for therapists to practice safely in the most exotic and beautiful locations in the world.

The lettermark was conceived through the notion of freedom and movement, and each ‘A’ is representative of the massage table legs supporting the bed above.
